EEA is the special elastomer which have a good thermal stability and non-corrosive to metals. It is used as a base resin for semi-conductive compounds and flame retardant compounds used in power cables, or in other electrical materials applications, and is also used as a modifier for engineering plastics. It is also widely used as an asphalt modifier in waterproof sheets for highway bridges.

Due to adaption to various processing methods such as inflation, casting and calendaring, it is used in various films and sheets composed of single layer to multiple layers such as commercial wrap, meat packaging film, agricultural house, shopping bag and so on.
EEA can be used at higher processing temperature than EVA because of its excellent thermal stability. And EEA has superior adhesiveness to paper and sealing properties than EVA. EVA, which has good sealing properties and high speed processability, is widely used as thermal lamination films. Additive free products without antioxidant can be used with peace of mind for food applications such as easy peel films.
